	FACE PAINT DESIGNS - PIRATE


	A quick and easy step by step face painting guide for a pirate. This one uses just three colours of face paint; black, orange and red with the un-shaven effect achieved using a stipple sponge. As with most of the designs ,it is aimed at a quick face which beginners can easily master with a bit of practice.

1. Start by applying black with a stipple sponge to the lower part of the face to make stubble. Pirates don't shave !!

Make one eyebrow thicker using black.


	2. Using a sponge cover the other eye with black to make an eye patch.


	3. Still using a sponge add orange (or any colour) accross the forehead for a bandana.

4. Outline the eye patch and add a strap.

Also outline the bandana, adding a couple of black lines across the orange to give the impression of the material being folded and outline the knot.

5. For a bloodthirsty pirate you can add a cut or scar. Make the middle of the red line thinker than either end and outline in black.

You could also add a moustache and or a tattoo on an arm.
