NEWSLETTER Hello ,
The nights are drawing in and for face painters that can only mean one thing, HALLOWEEN. Now's the time to start thinking of ghouls, ghosts, vampires, pumpkins and things that go bump in the night! we've got a couple of pumkin ideas for you further down the letter. There's been a few more additions to the site since the last letter: we now have added step-by-step pictures for spiderman, dalmation and a skull/zombie. Some halloween pages have been added and these will be expanded over the next few weeks.
HALLOWEEN PUMPKINS Here's a few quick pumkin designs painted on an arm, but just as easily painted on a face or cheek. The black one's a change from the usual orange.

HOLY COW Here's an article by Kath from Fizogg, painting cows indeed!!! I had a great job last week, very strange, but I had to share it. I was asked to paint a cow, yes a real live mooing cow!!!!! As I'm a fairly mad person anyway I though well why not, it washes off (being snaz I had no worries about that), it dosen't hurt and I knew it could be done thanks to Sue Howard who has painted horses! Really early start, these farmers get up far to early in the morning. But managed to get there and find my cow, Poleman Rollie Milan (I was expecting a Daisy but these show cows have amazing names!) Beautiful plain white side to paint on and we got started. I was the main attraction for all the guys looking after the cows, most laughed very hard and one asked if I could turn her into a tiger! It took about a hour to get the lettering finished (I cheated a little bit by using home made stencils) We then had to wait for the photographers to arrive, two cups of coffee and a muffin later they turn up. An area in the main arena was cleared and in we walked! Rollie was very well behaved and posed brilliantly. The company were very impressed and have loads of picture to use, she was even photographed for Farmers Weekly! A good days work and now I can add cow painting to my CV! Just had to share, still can't believe I painted a cow!
Hope you all have a good Halloween .Drop us a line (mail@facepaintingdesigns.co.uk) if you have any comments or ideas or even if you want to write an article for the newsletter. Looking forward to seeing your pictures for the competition. Back soon
