NEWSLETTER Hello everyone, Welcome to the new format of the newsletter. We are doing it this way as a number of subscribers had problems downloading the pictures in the e-mail format. From now on when there's a new issue we'll e-mail you just the link to the new newsletter. Hope this makes it easier for everyone. Hope halloween went off with a bump! Christmas is coming now, so get all the sparkles and reds, golds, and greens out of your boxes, and prepare for a festive season of Holly, trees and snow!

Just to let you know over 16,000 unique people visited the Face Painting Designs site on the 30th November. This is a record for us on one day. Shows how popular face painting is becoming particularly around Halloween. PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE As you are probably aware it is highly advisable to cover yourself with Public Liability insurance when working as a face painter. It's a necessary evil, particularly in today's increasingly litigious society. NEW PICTURE COMPETITION We going to run another competition over the next few weeks. There's a Christmas theme to this one, so let's see all the snowmen etc. We've decided to limit the entries to 5 per person, mainly for space saving. Second prize will be a £5.00 voucher to spend in the shop. What is wanted are pictures of faces you are proud of, faces you like doing or one you've been working hard at perfecting. .All who receive the news letter are welcome to enter. SPECIAL OFFERS THIS MONTH
These offers will expire at the end of December 2005. Only one set of sponges per customer please. This was brought up a few months ago whilst discussing ideas for Christmas faces. Obviously snow is white and if you painted the whole face white the end result would be rather clown-like. Another drawback with the whole white background is that you can't add snowflakes and snowmen etc. The trick here is to use either a very light blue or even grey to portray a sense of cold to the base layer. On top of this base layer you can now compose the scene's elements and use the white to good effect for snowmen, snow flakes, mistletoe and the like. A silver glitter dust over the background if applied carefully can give a very good impression of falling snowflakes. FREEPHONE NUMBER We have now installed a FREEPHONE NUMBER so you can place orders over the telephone if you wish, and not pay any call charges , make a note of it to save your phone bill.
