Well here we are again in the so called slow months of the year, but from what we hear a lot of you are very busy at the moment. Face painting seems to be growing in popularity all the time. there's a new competition for you to enter below, as well as details on the new UV colours from Snazaroo.

CHRISTMAS COMPETITION RESULTS

 Thanks for all the entries for the competition. The winner overall was Ruth Wardhaugh with her Snowman face and runner up was Michelle Wilkinson with her Christmas Scene.

                                               

Congratulations to both of you and vouchers have been sent off to you.

NEW PICTURE COMPETITION

We going to run another competition over the next few weeks. There's no theme to this one, all designs/faces can be entered. (Valentine's day designs could be a good idea) We've decided to limit the entries to 5 per person, mainly for space saving. Remember if you have other pictures you want shown, just send them in and we'll put them in one of the galleries on the site.

 
First prize will be a £10.00 voucher to spend in the shop. 
Second prize will be a £5.00 voucher to spend in the shop. 
 
What is wanted are pictures of faces you are proud of, faces you like doing or one you've been working hard at perfecting.   All who receive the news letter are welcome to enter. (If your friends want to enter get them to sign up for the letter!) The competition will be open until the 15th March, all pictures sent in will be displayed on a special page on the web site.  Email your picture or pictures (any size or format, we can adjust them to suit the site) to competition@facepaintingdesigns.co.uk

SNAZAROO UV DAYGLO PAINTS

   Snazaroo have finally launched their new UV dayglo face paint range called Cosmic Colours. This is an 8 colour (2ml) kit with a decent enough brush included. We were impressed with how well the colours stand out and think it will add a useful bit of kit to the face painters box.

FACE PAINTING OPEN DAY

Face Painting Designs will be holding an OPEN DAY/FUN DAY on the 26th February in Chipping Sodbury just North of Bristol. This will run from 1-6pm on the Saturday afternoon and all are welcome to come along. We'll have face painters from beginners to old hands coming along to swop ideas, chat and generally have fun.

We'll have the whole range of Snazaroo paints/accesories for you to look through. Try your hand at face painting if you've never done it before. (Bring your children, they can have a go as well!)

FORUM:

The forum for face painters that we are involved with called Face Painting Chat is going well with new people joining all the time.
Hopefully this forum will grow to be quite big, and enable face painters from all over the UK and beyond swop ideas and experiences. Why not pop along and join in the chat - its free.
