Hello all,
Well, Easter
is over and done with and summer is on the way (in this hemisphere at
least!) Lots of you will have had a very busy couple of weeks with the
school holidays and Bank holidays in the UK. Face Painters were out and
about in force over the weekend at all sorts of events from fun days to
Easter Egg hunts. Schools start again soon so pack the children off and put
your feet up for a bit!
Snazaroo have
launched a new product line - an easy to apply cream make up. Snazaroo
say it's a professional theatrical quality cream make up. It's available in
around 15 different colours in 30ml pots. No special make-up remover is
needed.
We've got a few
samples to try out and we'll let you know our thoughts next
month.
We've added a step by step guide on how
to paint a simple butterfly face in the designs
section of the site. The girls love this one - particularly with lots
of glitter. As with all the designs the colours can be changed to suit the
day or theme.
COMPETITION...........
Congratulations
The winner of the
recent competition was Liz Yendell and her face painting design cat. A
£10.00 voucher for the shop is winging it's way to her. (unfortunately we
only had the one entry so second prize wasn't
claimed)

Outdoor events are
going to become the norm in the coming months with school fetes,
fairs and the like. It might be an idea to get the gazebo out give it
an airing and check that you still have all the poles, pegs and ropes, and
that the canvas hasn't rotted away after you put it away damp last year!
Check all your signs and awnings for condition and maybe give them a bit of
a spruce up.
We've always found
it useful for long days to take along 6 or 7 spare chairs, it
gives the Mums and Dads somewhere to take the weight off their feet for a
while particularly if the queues are
big.
